The professors of the Master in Pathology are all PhDs, with five postdoctoral professors and three with research productivity grants from CNPq. The vast majority of faculty members are consultants of scientific journals and members of committees in federal ministry bodies (see details below). Regarding the time of dedication to the program, 13% of teachers work in three graduate programs, 37% in two programs and the rest, 50% exclusively in our program.

In 2016, the course completed 25 years and for that, we organized a Lecture Cycle with six meetings, with national and international speakers, with the participation of 180 participants. The funding was with the CAPES-FUNCAP 01/2014 Call for Incentive to Post-Graduation. The event was registered in the Pro-Rectory of Extension of the UFC, so that the participants received certificates. Its main objective was the dissemination of the course and scientific discussion of several current topics related to the program's research lines.
